What

Upgrade backend system framework. We expect the upgrade to take around 30 minutes to complete.

We have already upgraded our development and staging systems successfully and been running on the new code for a number of months.

Customer Impact

There will be a brief time where we need to pause event processing for around 15mins. While this happens events will queue in the system. Therefore users may experience minor disruption to:

  • CONXTD Login

  • Delay in viewing new events within CONXTD

  • Delay in receiving notifications

Once complete we will process any queue of events.

Conclusion

The maintenance work will be carried out by our senior developer and overseen by our CTO.

Moving forwards it is our aim to not have to stop alarm processing when conducting such upgrades in the future.
