Access to the app.conxtd.com Frontend and CONXTD App are still unavailable. The DNS record has still not updated. We are moving to try a different method.
We have now got the original server back up and running. We will now try to update the DNS back to this original server.

Access to the app.conxtd.com Frontend and CONXTD App are still unavailable. As part of the change above, we have had to update the DNS record to point to the new server. This is taking longer than usual to complete.
All events are now being processed as usual and sent out as notifications.

The new shadow server is running and has caught up on event processing. It will continue to receive and process events throughout the night and send out notifications.

The server failed to respond following the upgrade, therefore we are in progress of moving to our backup shadow server. We are beginning to catch up with events queued. We will now continue to receive events into system.

What
As part of our Cloud Strategy it is necessary for us to increase the capacity of one our servers. This is a routine task which should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
The work has been scheduled out of hours to keep user disruption at a minimum.
Process
• Pause and queue events
• Perform server upgrade
• Restart event queues
• System returns to normal
Customer impact:
While the upgrade is occurring, users may experience disruption to the following for up to 15mins:
• CONXTD Login
• Viewing new events within CONXTD
• Receiving notifications
• Performing remote set/unset functionality
Conclusion
The maintenance work will be carried out by our senior developer and overseen by our CTO.
